Zika Virus – Protecting Your Home

It seem like every year there is a new outbreak that we need to protect yourselves from and this year is no exception. The past couple of years, the West Nile virus was one of the biggest concerns. This year it is the Zika virus. When Zika was first reported, it was originally believe that it would only effect tropical areas. Unfortunately, that is not the case and Zika has spread all over the world. So much so that the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a Public Health Emergency of International Concern on February 1st ,2016. It is something we should all be aware of in order to make sure we take appropriate precautions to protect ourselves.
